Then, tried to give us a lower level car than what we booked for the same price. I was at least able to pull up the confirmation email to show the car level I had booked. After all of this, we ended up losing 4 hours of our vacation and paying 50% more that expected. Totally going with Hertz next time. Saw shuttles every 5 minutes, and quoted us a lower price at the airport and assured it was with the mandatory insurance.

I opted to pay the $3050, but next time I go to Cancun, I’m just going to taxi it. After finding this demodé, my other friends cancelled their other 2 rental cars and just used a taxi.
They simply placed the $2500 hold on my card. The car ran fine and we had a great trip! We took lots of pictures when we picked the car up and had no problems with the drop off.
Desventajas: Our flight was delayed and they cancelled our reservation. Agent at the counter offered an alternative with another company (something nded like something under the table) for five times the cost of my original reservation. In the end we were left without a car.
. There was no option to cancel since there were no more cars and no more companies (it was Dec 30th!!)... so the only option was to buy their own insurance.. which was frustrated and get me really mad
Desventajas: The car cost us $50 to rent; the insurance was $430. I think that is a total rip off. They do not tell you insurance is not part of renting the car until you go to pick the car up and then you have to haggle with the guys at the desk for an insurance price. We went to Mexico so I truly feel like I got a terrible rate because they knew we were American.

Desventajas: The price shown on the website doesn't show the flagrante price one has to pay upon arrival. According to the Europcar agent, every renter MUST pay a mandatory insurance imposed by the Mexican government, which is not covered by one's credit card car insurance. I ended up paying $231.17 USD (for 4 days total) instead of the $40 USD Vencedor shown on the website.
Alejo te recomiendo encarecidamente Avant, como el resto de los foristas en este hilo, son confiables, amables, no te cobran adicionales que no digan en la pagina, no te bloquean montos en la plástico de credito, los autos estan en buen estado (te lo digo porque nos toco una tormenta tropical durante todo el camino de Indeterminación de regreso de Xcaret hacia la zona hotelera de Cancun) y ofrece una de las mejores tarifas del mercado, yo alquile con ellos en Junio 2013 y no tengo nada de que quejarme, Menos de que es conveniente desde todo punto de apariencia contar con tu propio automóvil y no esperar el bus y acomodarte al horario del mismo, con auto tu te planificas como quieres y si deseas extender tus paseos no hay problemas, te da mucha libertad
Ventajas: They communicated clearly via email before we arrived. The rental was inexpensive. I used my Amex card for insurance and there was no pressure to buy more insurance.
Desventajas: Only 1 hour late and they charged me for extra day. We came in around 30 min late and the Rep lazy and laid back and take time to check the car and release the contract.
Desventajas: I was quoted a price of about $80 for the week but when we arrived they tried charging us four times that more info amount. I walked away and did not rent from them.
